An intimate Hudson Valley garden lunch rooted in seasonality

Disco Picnic is a relaxed lunch hosted at my home in the Hudson Valley, at a beautiful table in the garden, pond-side. Each lunch is thoughtfully prepared with food that reflects the season, local farms, local businesses and the pleasure of lingering together.

Rooted in generations of family kitchens and long conversations at the table, Disco Picnic is an invitation to slow down, connect, laugh, and be nourished in every sense.

The experience is intimate, welcoming, and built on the belief that food feeds the soul, conversation feeds the mind, laughter feeds the heart, and connection feeds our longevity.

Come for lunch, stay for the new friends, and leave feeling fully fed.

How we gather

The Disco Picnic Table

Seasonal, thoughtfully prepared lunches shared as you gather around the table in the garden at my countryside home in the Hudson Valley, Amenia, NY.

These other types of events share food, creativity, conversation, and community beyond my own home.

The iconic seasonal, thoughtfully prepared lunches brought to your home, garden, or gathering place — so you can host beautifully without doing it all yourself.

We come to you

The picnic has the most flexibility and can be shaped around the setting, season, and spirit of the event. From a seated lunch or grazing table to a larger community experience. What do you have in mind?

Pop Up Picnic

Disco Picnic was born from generations of family gathered in the kitchen and around the table

For decades, I learned by watching, tasting, listening, helping, hosting, and sharing meals with the people I love. Those experiences are the inspiration behind Disco Picnic: a gathering rooted in food, creativity, and connection.

Sharing my creativity through meals is one of the ways I know how to build community. Connection feeds our longevity. Food feeds the soul. Laughter feeds the heart. Conversation feeds the mind.

I welcome you to my home and to the table — to be nourished, delighted, and fully fed in every sense.

Some helpful details to know

How far in advance should we book?

Because each gathering is small and thoughtfully prepared, booking at least 3 days in advance is ideal. Last-minute seats may be available when space allows.

For private dining, collaborations, or pop-ups, we recommend reaching out at a few weeks in advance so there’s time to shape the menu, details, and overall experience around your setting and season.

If your plans change, you’re welcome to transfer your seat to another guest, just send us their name.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Absolutely. Please share any allergies or dietary restrictions when reserving your seat.

While we’ll do our best, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
